I found this tag by The Chapter Chicks, I edited it a bit to suit myself but all of the questions are credited to Chapter Chicks :).

  1. Do you get sick while reading in the car? No, thank goodness, but my Mum does! I’m not sure what else I would do on a long drive.

  2. Which author's writing style is completely unique to you and why? I would have to say Morgan Rhodes and reading her ‘Falling Kingdom’ series. They were just so intricate in the descriptions of characters as well as the flow of POV’s (Point of View’s).

  3. Do you carry a book bag? If so, what is it in (besides books...)? No, I don’t carry around a book bag but sometimes when I’m really attached to a novel I’ll carry it around with me. Without a bag, does that make me really nerdy. Oh well!

  1. Do you smell your books? Truthfully, yes. I love the smell, especially from aged novels. My mum gave me a few of her childhood books, and they all have that musty scent. That sounds really gross, but promise me, a bookworm loves the smell of cherished novels.

  2. Books with or without little illustrations? I have grown to love illustrations in novels, especially when it comes to maps. I feel like drawings/pictures give the novel so much more of a story and I’m able to understand certain aspects such as character travel, a lot better.

  3. What book did you love while reading but discovered later it wasn't quality writing? I must admit that I’m not the type of person to go back and re-read novels. But to answer this question, I would probably have to say that some of the novels I read when I was younger (around 12-15 years old) would be classified low-level writing if I re-read them now.

  4. What is the thinnest book on your shelf? It would have to be ‘Never Never’ by Colleen Hoover. 150 pages worth of content and I gave it a 5/5 stars on Goodreads. Packed full of tension and plot twists.

  5. What is the thickest book on your shelf? I’m looking through my bookcase, in search of this big ass book. It is ‘City of Heavenly Fire’ by Cassandra Clare, an oldie but what I like to call a goodie. I also gave this novel a 5/5 stars on Goodreads, but I haven’t read any of Cassandra series. I MUST get onto it!

  1. Do you write as well as read? Do you see yourself in the future as being an author? I don’t write and read. I feel like I might like to take up something like that, maybe make a short story. But other than that, I would have to improve my writing skills dramatically!

  2. When did you get into reading? From what I can remember, I got into reading at around the age of 11-12. I hated reading before then, and my Mum would always pray that she would have a bookworm for a daughter. But now I’m an avid reader and Mum plays an active role in buying all the books haha!

  3. What is your favourite classic book? This is a loaded question for a bookworm. I would have to say series that I have rated a 5/5 stars consecutively. I must say, it’s a lot!

  4. In school was your best subject Language Arts/English? No! Funny enough it was one of those subjects I barely just passed. I hated English at school because we were never doing anything in it that I enjoyed.

  5. If you were given a book as a present that you had read before and hated...what would you do? I would just be honest and thank that person for that gift but tell them that I’ve already read it.

  6. What is your favourite word? I would probably say ‘squirt’, ‘tubby’, or ‘custard’. Funny enough these are all the names I call my cats, and yes, they respond to each name I give them.

  7. Are you a nerd, dork, or dweeb? Or all of the above? I would classify myself as a dweeb. I’m not into fan groups plus I’m not extraordinarily smart. But I do enjoy spending 3+ hours in book shops and carrying around said books in my hands anywhere I go!

  8. Vampires or Fairies? Why? Fairies! I feel like Vampires are always so overdone and there’s never anything special about them anymore. I haven’t read a good Vampire book in a while, which is also a shame! But I love Fae worlds and they’re characteristics. It’s so interesting plus creative.

  9. Shapeshifters or Angels? Why? Is it illegal to say both? Why not shapeshifting Angels? (Someone write a book about that!).

  10. Spirits or Werewolves? Why? Werewolves! I haven’t read about any hot alpha male Casper the Ghost’s yet!

  1. Love Triangle or Forbidden Love? Oooohhhh… I really can’t choose between the two. I love the competition of a love triangle and the mystery of forbidden love! This question is like asking what your favourite book is?!

  2. Full on romance books or action-packed with a few love scenes mixed in? This is two different types of Genres though! I love my contemporary Romances BUT… sometimes they can get a little boring. SO, Action-Packed with a few love scenes wins by a smidge!
